Tips regarding marketing, book buyers, distribution channels, media contacts, and the benefits associated with collaborating with special events are reviewed, as are economic feasible short runs. The workshop also covers domestic suppliers, printers, and the economic feasibility of short runs, and copyrighting processes.
“Developing a Picture Perfect Portfolio”
Allows anyone with an interest in photography to familiarize themselves with the process of publishing the still image. This workshop covers how to get one’s photographs published in both local and national newspapers and magazines. Topics include how to research one’s special niche and how to query publications for submission guidelines. The basic laws of photography, including contracts, releases, and copyrighting are also reviewed.
